Andy Warhol (1928–1987) was a leading figure in the Pop Art movement.

Through silkscreen printing, painting, and film, Warhol turned the imagery of consumer culture and celebrity into the central language of late twentieth century art. His work continues to define the conversation between art, mass production, and fame.
