Biography
Gavin Turk is a British artist whose work probes the myths of identity, authorship and the cult of the artist.
Emerging from the YBA generation, Turk has built a body of work that reframes twentieth-century icons — from Che Guevara to Elvis to Joseph Beuys — through silkscreen, diamond dust and a wry conceptual eye. His portraits sit between homage, critique and pop spectacle.
Represented by Scream.
